Blackmore House

About

Blackmore House is 6 storey building with ground floor shops and five floors of office accommodation.
The structure is concrete column and beams support, dycore concrete slab flooring with concrete block wall infills.
The strengthening works took 8 weeks and consisted of:
- four strand anchors 14m deep
- two insitu 350mm thick concrete walls in the basement car park.
- additional support by way of 1030 No 150 x 100 RHS brackets fixed to the concrete beams at each end of the dycore flooring.
