Wellington International Air-port Limited, Car-Park Extension
Initially the contract was for creation of a Taxi holding rank, and then was changed to a Rental holding car-park due to the growing demands of the Airport.
Work consisted of:
- Bulk excavation of 4000m3 from existing knoll
- Excavation and importation of 1200m3 of sub-grade to form 4500m2 car-park
- New kerb and crossings
- Remaining battered knoll was covered with weed-mat, hydro-seeded and planted.
- Supply and installation of chain-link fence and rock-fall fence to the perimeter with gates.
- Supply and installation of street lighting for security.
